Move a Quote

You can move a quote to another project or another client if needed. Attention: If a job is linked to the quote, the job also moves when you move the quote.

To move a quote, complete the following steps:

1. Click Menu > Quotes > Quote Search.
2. In the data grid on the Quote Search page, locate the quote that you want to move and click its quote number in the Quote # column. The quote is displayed on the Quotes page, which shows the quote's name as the title of the page.
3. Click The Move <Quote Name> dialog is displayed, where <Quote Name> is the name of the quote.
4. Keep the client name in the Client drop-down or choose another client name to move the quote to a different client. A list of existing projects for that client is displayed below the client name.
5. Click on the project name that you want to use, or click Add New Project if you want to move the quote to a new project. If you click Add New Project, TrafficLIVE prompts you for the name of the project to add to the list.
6. Choose a name from the Contact drop-down.
